As Leader of Newcastle Borough Council Simon Tagg works in the Civic Offices in Merrial Street in the town Centre. Over 200 people work in the building and provide a number of services to local residents. Simon meets regularly with Council Officers and other councillors and leads debates in the Council Chamber.

Simon Tagg and fellow councillors Ian Matthews & Stephen Holland at the October May Bank Ward councillors Surgery. They hold their surgery on the first Thursday of every month at May Bank Infants School starting at 6pm. Its a chance for local residents to met and raise concerns with their local representatives.
